Do you agree with Maria? Do you think she should tell someone about Pam?

I agree with Maria because Maria was caring for her friend. Maria doesn’t care if Pam is fat. Well Maria should ask people that who was telling her to get skinny. Maria should tell the teacher and the principle about Pam getting skinny from other people. Maria should tell the parents of Pam that students in school are teasing Pam and telling her to get skinny.

If so, who do you think she should tell?

Maria should tell the principle, teachers, and the parents of Pam about the things that other students are telling Pam to get skinny.

What do you think Maria should say if Pam asks her if she told someone?

Maria should only tell the people that cares about Pam and should tell the parents and other adults like the teachers that cares about Pam to.

Have you ever been in a position like this? What happened? Would you make the same choices if you were in that position again?

I never been in that position like maria and pam. Well nothing happend to me because I never had that problem before. I would ignore the people that is telling me to get skinny. and I would not do the same thing and the choices that maria and pam did and I am not going to get that position that maria and pam had.

What do you think Mary should do?

Mary should tell the teacher or the principle that mary is getting bad notes from other people. Mary should not ignore the notes because she should ask other people or friends that who wrote the notes to her. She should talk to that person not to send notes to her and talk about the problem that thier having and like fix the problem. If mary have problems in the school she could go to another school so she doesn’t have to get notes from other people. She should not pretend that she is hanging out with the sophmore boys because the sophmore girls would like get angry to mary because mary thinks the notes were from the sophmore girls but they weren’t.
Would you do the same thing?

No, I would not do the same thing that mary did. If I was mary I would go to that person and talk to that person what problems I am giving you. I would talk to that person and fix the problems that I giving and the other person that sending notes to me. I would go to the principle of the school and talk to him or her that someone is sending notes to me that is bad and gossiping to me. I could go to a different school so I don’t have the same problems in that school and this school.

What do you think would happen to someone in your school who was in Mary’s situation? (I.e. would she get backlash for hooking up with older guys? Would people gossip about her?)

I would think that person that is having trouble time like mary won’t have problems if he or she is like popular in school and doing bad things, they would have the same problems as mary. In this school there was only few problems with kids. Most of the students doesn’t have problem like mary and other problems that we had before. In this school  there was high schooler’s that having problems in things. During in a different class we had about few problems about something.

How does gossip play a role in your school, in your community?

Well people doesn’t really gossip to other people in this school. Sometimes when you gossip people you will like get in trouble with the teachers and principle. Well in this school when you gossip to other people and a person catches you gossiping to there culture or something they will like get mad at you or tell on you. Like when you gossip in a really bad way you will be like suspended. In schools gossiping is a really bad thing for students and to the people who gossips.

Have you ever been in a situation similar to Mary’s? How was it resolved?

I never been in a situation like Mary. If I had a situation like mary it will be okay when I talk to that person to stop sending notes to me. It will resolved when you talk to that person that is sending notes to you, and talk to them in private like what problems am I giving to them.

Why do you think people gossip? Have you ever gossiped about someone? Why do you think you did?

Some people gossip to other people because a person that made the other mad he will gossip to them. And people gossip for a reason but only sometimes. I gossiped only ones to a person because the other person made me mad for something. The other person made me mad and I feel like I wanted to do something to that person but it was like long time ago.

Today in study skills we are learning to do research. In study skills we mostly learn about internet. Like yesterday we went to this site with our study skills teacher and we take this tests about internet that we read in the computer and learn more about internet.

In Wensday we took a personality test. Today we discussed about the personality test during computer class. We learned some words in the personality test and we talked about the words that we learned in class. We went to www.personalitylab.org to do the personality test. We had a test about us. If we don’t know about our self we do the personality test. I took the personality test seriously and it was long. When I was finished with the test I looked at the scores I was pretty happy with my scores. In the test we had to talk about ourself. Most of the scores that I took the test was high. I had a great time with the personality test and it was pretty hard. It was fun doing the personality test about us.

Should Students be allowed to bring cellphones to school?

Yes, because the students need cellphone if their parents comes late to pick you up from school so the teachers won’t tell you to go to after school. if you are all alone in school and nobody is there in school, they could use their cellphone to call parents to pick them up in school. If you are hurt really badly in school you could call your parents that it is an emergency. If a new student is lost in the school they could take out their cellphone and  call their parents that the he or she is lost in school. If you have no ride home you could use your cellphone to call your parents if you could ride with your friend and tell them to drop you at home. If you bring your cellphone to school you have to turn it off during class. If the cellphone is on and gets a call from someone during class  the teacher will take it or they will send you to the office.

In the summer I went off island. When I went off island I had fun going around. Well I went to Korea and stade there for few days. When we were going to the airport we met jennifer’s family to go to Singapore to meet Jinah the girl that went to St. Johns School in 5th grade. When we arrived at Singapore we had tour guide to tour us around Singapore. When we went to the hotel we met Jinah at the hotel and they stayed in the hotel for a while. The next day we went to Malasia for tour until afternoon after Malasia we went to Indonesia with a boat. We stayed in Indonesia for 3 days and tour around in Indonesia with a different tour guide. When we were done touring around we went to a hotel that we stay in for the next 2 days. In the second day we just stayed at the hotel for the whole day but, we wentto buy fruits and other things and after buying things we went to lunch and get more things and after that we went to dinner. On the third day we went to tour around again somewhere that I forgot the name of the place and then we left Indonesia to go back to Singapore and then go to Jinah’s house and stay there for 1 week and 3 days. Most of the days we mostly swam, watch a movie, shop around, ice skating, and we went to this science museum where there is a water park. I had a great time in Sinapore, Malasia, Indoniesia, Korea, And Jeju Island in Korea.

When somebody say to be yourself it means to be with no one for a while. It is difficult to be myself like when I do a project I have to do all the work and without anybody. Fitting in means try to be friends with them and to stick with them around. There is a lot of pressure in school because the teachers sometimes orders you to finish the project like  in tomorrow. You don’t need to be yourself because you just need to fit with your other people around. If you don’t fit in you will have to be yourself and you don’t fit in with other people sometimes it means their is something wrong with you. There is some groups in this school. There is groups because they are best friends and  they do things for their best friends. It is not really hard to be yourself in the group of best friends and I don’t know the reason why. Sometimes there is pressure to fit in other people.

Today we are going to talk about a another ethical dilemma. Brendan’s dilemma is that he cheats to much in class and the subject is math. I never saw a person and his friend did not do anything wrong and I didn’t feel something that they didn’t do wrong. Yes, Brendan should talk to his dad about the cheat in the movies. A student that sits next to him in class during a test. The person that sells the tickets. I used to lie when I need to lie and now I don’t really lie to anyone but if I need to lie I lie.

Today I am going to write a story where they are three kids name John, Michael, and Zack and they are in 6 grade. Michael was popular in 6 grade and Zack was with Michael.

Once upon a time there was a kid name John and he had two best friends name Michael, and Zack. One day John and his best friends went to school at the same time and when John said ” hi ” to Michael, he ignored John because Michael was popular for boys but John was not popular. When John went to his locker in the hallway Michael and Zack and other boys were bulling John in the hallway but Zack didn’t want to hurt John because it was his best friend but Zack had to be in Michael side because Michael had more boys and Michael popular. When the bell rang all the students went to class. When John, Michael, and Zack went to the same class and the teacher wasn’t there Michael and Zack and other boys were like throwing paper and teasing him and was throwing other things to John. When the teacher came to class Michael and Zack and the other boys stop throwing things because the teacher was at the class and when the teacher looks at the students Michael and Zack and the other boys were pretending that the boys are nice to John but when the teacher looks away they started to be mean to John. When school was over Michael and his gang was staring at John while his mom was picking him up. At the next day John went to class and Michael and Zack and other boys felt sorry that they were bulling John for the whole week in school so when they went to the class they saids sorry because they were bulling John so John said it is all right that you bullied me for the whole the week in school.

Today we are going to talk about Resolution. Resolution means a state or quality of being resolute and firm determination. In my own words I think resolution means what happen to the past like long time ago. I don’t have any sentence for resolution. My family don’t talks about resolution.
